Sound tests
Important notice : All the sounds samples available here were made using a draft PVC prototype. No use of sound effects, directly from mic. I am NOT a good didgeridoo player, these reconrdings aim only at showing sounds opportunities a tuned wooden one may provide.
Flute sound
Test with the flute method (open-mouth side blowing).
Trumpet like
Test using trumpet sound (tight lips).
Drone variations
Simple drone test. One hole at a time.
Mixed styles
Test using regular drone, slow vibration and trumpet sounds.
Percusive sounds
This sample was made using lips open as a percusive sound.
Slide effect
Just for fun, here is a slider effect. It is made by slowly blocking the holes one after an other.
